Dylan Sale aims for a strong comeback with Heerenveen after one season

Dylan Vente, an SC Heerenveen striker, aims to bounce back after an adaptation season in which he did not achieve his goals. Focused on his progress, he says he is ready to turn the page and establish himself as a key element of the Frisian attack.
Arriving last summer from Hibernian, where he had also been loaned to PEC Zwolle the previous season, Dylan Vente scored only seven goals in Eredivisie under the colours of the Frisian club during the past financial year. To this total, we must add a goal in the Dutch Cup and another in the play-offs for a place in the European Cup, a record that leaves the attacker hungry. “It was a sawtooth season,” he admits bluntly. “I've had highs and

Vente acknowledges that he has, at times, evolved too low on the pitch, favouring the construction of the game to the detriment of its presence in the surface. Aware of the expectations surrounding him, Dylan Vente no longer wants to relive such an irregular exercise. He naturally hoped to break the 15- or even 20-goal mark, but now he prefers to look ahead: “This first season is behind me. Now I feel ready to give it my all and really explode this year. ”
The ambition displayed by Vente coincides with the needs of SC Heerenveen, which will have to rely on its attacker to aim for a European position in Eredivisie. With complete physical preparation and renewed determination, the Dutch striker seems determined to turn the page and establish himself as one of the club's major assets next season.
