ADO Den Haag strengthened his defence by announcing the signature of central defender Jonas Jensen-Abbew on Wednesday. The Hague club said the 24-year-old signed a four-year contract after arriving from AGF Aarhus, Denmark's reigning champion.
Jensen-Abbew had been playing in Aarhus since February 2024 and played 44 matches in all competitions. Trained at FC Nordsjaelland, he also played for several young Danish teams, including the U21s. According to the club's press release, its presence must provide solutions on the central axis but also a versatility capable of troubleshooting at the lateral rear position if necessary.
The current season, however, has not seen much of Jensen-Abbew on the pitch for his previous club: he entered only at the very beginning of the match on the first day, a statistic that does not detract from his profile and his potential, insist the leaders of TEEN.
