Florentino ready to offer €150m: who will be the next galactico?

Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid's president, has announced that he wants to prepare the biggest offer in the club's history (around €150m) for a single player. He ruled out some names and clarified that this was a “middle-forward” profile. Several options are discussed internally.
Florentino Pérez once again led the transfer market in France and Europe after his recent intervention on Iker Jiménez's show, Horizonte. The boss of Real Madrid has publicly acknowledged his intention to prepare "the biggest offer" ever proposed by the club for a single player, around 150 million euros.
The Madrid leader immediately dismissed several popular options from the public: Olise, Harry Kane, Doku or Erling Haaland would not be included in this plan. “He is a player from the midfield and forward,” he added, clarifying the profile sought and narrowing the list of possible candidates.
Among the names that circulate, João Neves appears as a consistent option. The young Portuguese midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain has established himself as a key element of the Parisian system thanks to his maturity and physical presence. Negotiating with Parc des Princes is always tricky, but the current institutional relationship between Real and PSG could facilitate a historic transfer if Los Blancos put such a sum on the table.
Vitinha, also at PSG, has a similar profile. The Portuguese midfielder is perceived as the Parisian driving force and, according to the story relayed, has even distinguished himself as one of the best players in the most recent Champions League final. His dynamism and his ability to project himself forward seduce the recruiters of La Concha Espina.

The track becomes more romantic when it comes to Bayern Munich's offensive midfielder. In theory, this type of player is not for sale and is bound by a solid contract until 2030; a release clause around 175 million euros was mentioned. A formal offer of €150m would come close to this amount and could force the Bavarian management to think about an otherwise unimaginable file.
If Florentino is also looking for the sensational, Julián Álvarez is among the names capable of causing huge media noise. Although recently associated with Barcelona, an offer of this magnitude could, according to commentators, make Atlético Madrid reconsider certain positions — and trigger one of the great summer sagas.
Finally, getting Lamine Yamal back from Barça seems almost utopian: the young prodigy trained in La Masia is considered untransferable and Barcelona would not want to part with his nugget. Nevertheless, the passage of history reminds us that in football nothing is ever totally excluded — two words mentioned by observers: Luis Figo.
At this point, Florentino's statement mostly revived speculation. It remains to be seen whether Real will realize this ambition and which name will eventually emerge as a potential recipient of this historic offer.
