Alessio Lisci returns to Greece: officially new coach of PAOK

Alessio Lisci has been appointed PAOK coach. After his time at Osasuna in La Liga, the 40-year-old Italian resumed his career abroad: the Thessaloniki club salutes his playing philosophy and his daily rigor.
Alessio Lisci has officially returned to service as PAOK coach. The Greek club released a welcome video accompanied by a press release confirming the appointment, which followed an indiscretion broadcast in recent days.
Aged 40, Lisci arrives at Toumba after his last experience at Osasuna, in La Liga. Trained within the Lazio youth team, he left Italy in 2011 to pursue his career in Spain, working at Levante then Mirandés before joining the Navarrese club.

Lisci therefore does not return to Italy and chooses a new adventure far from her homeland. He beat out the competition from the Bosnian Marino Pusic, who at one point appeared as a serious candidate for the position of the “whites and blacks” of Thessaloniki.
The Italian technician inherits an ambitious team in Greece and will have to quickly convince in the championship and European cups if PAOK wants to realize the expectations displayed during its presentation.
