Brazil and Morocco launch their 2026 World Cup this June 14 in East Rutherford. Discover the 11 starters lined up by each selection for this Group C clash.
The 2026 World Cup tournament will kick off on the night of June 13-14 with the Group C match between Brazil and Morocco at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, United States. The match, refereed by Slawko Vincic of Slovenia, will begin at 1:00 a.m. French time.

For Brazil, goalkeeper Alisson Becker will be protected by a defense made up of Marquinhos, Magalhães, Ibanez and Douglas Santos. The midfield will be structured around Casemiro, Guimarães and Rafinha, while in the offensive sector, Paqueta, Vinicius Jr. and Thiago should be aligned.

On the Moroccan side, Yassine Bounou will keep the cages. The defensive line will include Hakimi, Mazraoui, Diop and Riyad. The midfield will consist of Unai, El Hannous, El Ainawi and Bouadi, supporting Saibari and Diaz in attack.
After this first act, Brazil will face Haiti on June 20 then Scotland on June 25. Morocco, meanwhile, will play Scotland on June 20 before facing Haiti on June 25.
Organized jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico, the 2026 World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19. Currently, the defending champion is Argentina, victorious in the 2022 final against France after a disputed penalty shootout (3-3 at the end of extra time).
