Crotone: Serie C registration confirmed after concerns about the club's future

Crotone has made its participation in the next Serie C season official, putting an end to doubts regarding its registration. President Gianni Vrenna revealed that the club went through a period of uncertainty, but all procedures were completed on time.
After several weeks of doubt, FC Crotone have dispelled all concerns regarding their immediate future. The Calabrian club announced, via an official press release, that it had submitted all the necessary documents for its registration for the next Serie C championship. A relief for the supporters, as the risk of seeing the “squali” (sharks) disappear seemed real until recently.
President Gianni Vrenna himself confirmed the difficult situation in which the club found itself, during a meeting at Confindustria Crotone, in the presence of mayor Vincenzo Voce and Mario Spanò, president of the local Confindustria. “There was definitely a risk that the club would not be able to register for the championship, but a few minutes ago we were able to finalize all the required documents, thanks to my efforts,” said Vrenna, highlighting the work and sacrifices made to save the institution.

The club will now be able to concentrate on sporting preparation for the new season. An important file remains: that of the appointment of the new coach. With Emilio Longo very close to joining Foggia, Crotone will have to turn to a new avenue to carry out its sporting project.
With registration assured, Crotone will soon begin planning its squad and its ambitions for the coming season.
