This meeting, which promises to be the big back-to-school celebration for BVB supporters, will be punctuated by numerous activities throughout the day. The highlight will of course be the friendly match against the Italian club at 5:30 p.m. This duel will have a special flavor for three young Borussia players from Italy: Samuele Inacio, Luca Reggiani and Filippo Mane. The first two have even just been called up for the first time for the Italian national team.
On the emotional side, the return to Signal-Iduna-Park of Donyell Malen, now in the colors of Roma after having left his mark on Dortmund, will also attract attention.

For Niko Kovac and his men, this poster against Roma will serve as the last real test before the first major official meeting: the German Super Cup against the reigning champion Bayern Munich, on August 22 (8:30 p.m.).
Dortmund's preparation officially begins on July 12 with physical tests, followed by the first training sessions two days later. However, the squad will be incomplete at first, as eleven players are currently selected in different groups for the World Cup. Salih Özcan, for his part, is awaiting the final decision from Vincenzo Montella for his participation with Turkey.
Thanks to this prestigious poster, Dortmund is aiming for an ideal rise in power in order to start the season on a flying note.
