Endrick wants to follow Ronaldo's example at Real Madrid

Endrick is aware that his career will be strewn with pitfalls, but the 19-year-old Brazilian striker is determined to overcome the difficulties, like his role model Cristiano Ronaldo. After struggling to get playing time under Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid at the start of the season, Endrick was loaned to Olympique Lyonnais for the second half of the 2025-26 season. During this time at Lyon, he scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 matches in all competitions, helping the club to secure fourth place in Ligue 1.

Since his first match with Lyon, Endrick has been among the most decisive players in Ligue 1, placing himself in sixth position in the ranking of direct goal contributions. Despite the interest shown by Lyon for a new loan, the player seems determined to establish himself in the Madrid group and earn his starting place.

In an interview with GQ Brazil, Endrick insisted on the difficulty of the journey he must face, but also on the importance of perseverance: "It's going to be hard, it always has been. It's the law of football. Wanting to work hard from a young age is something I have in common with Cristiano Ronaldo. But I don't admire him only for his work ethic.
