Gubbio, doppio rinnovo: Rosaia and La Mantia in rossoblù at the end of 2028.

Ace Gubbio 1910 announced this Friday the renewal of the contracts of two of its executive elements: Giacomo Rosaia and Andrea La Mantia signed an extension which binds them to the Umbrian club until June 30, 2028. The club's official communication underlines the common desire to pursue a project of continuity and shared objectives.

Giacomo Rosaia thus begins his fifth season under the rossoblù colors. The club recalls that he has already made 150 appearances with Gubbio's jersey and that he has scored 4 goals since his arrival. For Rosaia, this new contract duration represents a demonstration of confidence from management and a guarantee of stability for the workforce.

Andrea La Mantia begins his second season at Gubbio after a first year marked by 30 appearances and 6 goals. The extension of his commitment confirms the role he played last season and the club's desire to rely on experienced players to tackle upcoming events.

These two extensions are part of a clear strategy of continuity chosen by the sporting management: retaining familiar elements of the group to maintain a stable framework. In the demanding context of Serie C, where competitiveness is strong and the season long, retaining executives often makes it possible to build a more solid collective project.

Based in Umbria, Ace Gubbio 1910 thus emphasizes consistency in the locker room and trust in players who already know the club environment and the requirements of the championship. The press release specifies that the club and the two players now share the ambition of “raggiungere insieme nuovi e condivisi obiettivi sportivi” – to achieve new common sporting objectives together – formula included in the official announcement.

From a sporting point of view, these extensions do not modify the announced squads but they offer a clear reading of the club's priorities: maintaining an experienced base to build the coming season. Gubbio therefore keeps its key pieces and shows its intention to continue the project started in previous seasons, banking on the stability and experience of players already experienced in the Italian Serie C championship.

The rest

With these extensions, Gubbio is preparing to strengthen its squad in view of future challenges in Serie C. The sports management seems to favor an approach of continuity, which could include other renewals or targeted recruitments to complete the team. The performances of Rosaia and La Mantia will be closely scrutinized as the club aims to achieve its shared sporting goals.
