Hearts sign Amadou Ba-Sy for three years, a “powerful and technically gifted” striker

Hearts have recruited Amadou Ba‑Sy, 25, from Rouen. The striker, trained in Nice and spent with Gazelec Ajaccio, Dunkirk and Portugal, signed up for three seasons and joins MJ Kamson-Kamara and Calvin Miller in the squad.
Heart of Midlothian announced the arrival of Amadou Ba‑Sy, signed for three seasons after his time at Rouen. The Scottish club presents the French striker as “a powerful and technically gifted player” destined to strengthen the attack in view of a busy season at national and European level.
Aged 25, Ba‑Sy arrives from Rouen, which finished third in the National last season. During the 2025-26 financial year, he scored six goals and delivered four assists in 29 appearances, participating in the Norman club's journey to the final of the promotion play-offs, lost against Stade Lavallois.

Trained in the center of Nice, Amadou Ba‑Sy made his professional debut by joining Gazelec Ajaccio in 2021, before a move to Dunkirk the following year. His career then took him to Portugal, with stops at Vizela then at Academica de Coimbra, before returning to France last season with the Rouen squad.
This arrival follows those of defender MJ Kamson-Kamara and winger Calvin Miller, already recruited by Tynecastle this summer, in the project led by coach Derek McInnes. Hearts is counting on this trio to expand its group in anticipation of an ambitious schedule.
The transfer confirms the opening of summer recruitment for Hearts, who are looking to consolidate their status as runners-up in the Scottish Championship and be competitive in all upcoming competitions.
