Inter: distance around Khalaili, Milan insists on Mario Gila

Inter have clearly accelerated on the Anan Khalaili file. According to Sky Sport, the Nerazzurro club has officially sent Union Saint-Gilloise its first offer for the 2004-born striker/winger, identified as the main target to strengthen the right track. The amount proposed by the Beneamata would be around 20 million euros, while the Belgian club maintains a request close to 30 million. A significant gap which requires a relaunch of Inter if the club wants to conclude this transfer quickly.

The situation clearly illustrates the current difficulties of the transfer window: Union Saint-Gilloise does not seem in a hurry to sell off its young element and Inter, despite its marked interest, must now decide on a possible bidding war to reach the range desired by the Belgian leaders.

Another moving issue in Serie A: Como’s defensive transfer window. The Lariano club had also monitored Tosin Adarabioyo, but the defender is not (for the moment) leaving Chelsea. The English club and the player are not considering a sale this summer, according to the information relayed. Faced with this refusal, Como redirected his research towards another player in the Chelsea pool: Trevoh Chalobah. The defender, born in 1999, was identified as a profile suited to the defensive needs of the team coached by Cesc Fàbregas. Note that Chalobah is also closely followed by Inter, which could further complicate the race for his recruitment.

Finally, the Mario Gila file remains relevant for Milan. The Rossoneri transmitted an offer to Lazio through Alejandro Camaño, the Spaniard's agent, who traveled to Rome to discuss with the Biancocelesti leaders. But President Claudio Lotito does not budge on his request: he demands 30 million euros to let go of his defender, despite a contract expiry which runs until June 2027. Milan will therefore have to present an upwardly revised offer if they want to obtain the green light from Lazio and sign Gila.

These three files show the tone of the Italian transfer window at the moment: several clubs engaged in tight negotiations, firm requests from sellers and buyers ready to relaunch their proposals to complete targeted reinforcements. What happens next will depend on financial reminders and internal arbitrations at the clubs concerned.
