Ismael Saibari (Morocco, PSV) joins Bayern Munich until 2031

Bayern Munich has formalized the arrival of Ismael Saibari, Moroccan international and offensive revelation of the last World Cup, to strengthen its offensive sector. The former player of PSV Eindhoven, champion of the Netherlands, signs until 2031. The amount of the transfer would amount to 55 million euros, a less expensive strategic reinforcement than the club's original priority, Anthony Gordon. Saibari, also a scorer against Bayern in the Champions League, now aims to win numerous titles under the Bavarian colors.
Bayern Munich has its new offensive weapon in the person of Ismael Saibari. Aged 25, the Moroccan international arrives from PSV Eindhoven, recent triple champion of the Netherlands. He signed with the Bavarian club for a period of five years, until June 30, 2031.
This signing comes after the failure of negotiations with Anthony Gordon, who ultimately chose FC Barcelona. The Munich leaders, in a hurry to strengthen their attack, then turned to Saibari, author of a remarkable World Cup in the Morocco jersey. The operation would be completed against compensation of around 55 million euros, a sum significantly lower than the 80 million paid by Barcelona for Gordon.

Born in Barcelona and trained between Anderlecht, Genk and Eindhoven, Saibari is coming off an exceptional season: 15 goals in 27 Eredivisie matches, and 3 goals in 7 Champions League matches in the 2025/26 financial year. In addition to his versatility across the entire attacking front, he also displays solid experience on the international scene and in major events.
Bayern, looking for a profile capable of replacing Harry Kane, displays its ambitions with this strategic recruit. Christoph Freund, deputy sporting director, highlighted Saibari's "finishing qualities, physical power and ability to break out on the left side to get in and strike", similar strengths to those of fellow new arrival Michael Olise.
