Jack Wells‑Morrison reunites with Wealdstone: COO leaves club

22-year-old midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison has once again signed with Wealdstone on a “longer permanent contract”. At the same time, the club confirmed the departure of its COO Richard Hopwood and launched the search for a first CEO.
Wealdstone has formalized the return of midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison, who has already been with the club twice. Aged 22, he played for the Stones during the 2024-25 season on loan from Crystal Palace, before returning last March on a contract running until the end of the past season.

Wells-Morrison notably participated in the FA Trophy final in May against Southend United at Wembley Stadium. The club did not specify the duration of the new commitment, simply describing it as a “longer permanent contract”.
In addition, Wealdstone announced the departure of its director of operations (COO) Richard Hopwood. The club indicates that it is now launching the recruitment of its first general manager (CEO).
