Jay Robinson, a 19-year-old English winger currently playing for Southampton, is about to have his first experience abroad by joining Italian club Monza. According to the latest information from Italy, the young talent will sign up with the Lombard club, freshly promoted to Serie A, in the form of a one-season loan, for the 2026-2027 financial year.

This operation marks an important step in the career of Robinson, who wishes to gain playing time and become more experienced in a championship recognized for its tactical demands and competitiveness. Monza, which has just achieved a historic rise to the elite of Italian football, aims to remain in Serie A by relying on young players full of potential like the young Englishman.

Southampton are not closing the door on the future of their protégé, but see this loan as an ideal opportunity for Jay Robinson to gain experience in a different environment and strengthen his technical and physical qualities. On the Monza side, it is also a way to energize the attack and bring speed and creativity to the wings.
