“I don’t care,” says Torres in the face of rumors linking him to PSG

Linked to PSG in the press, Ferran Torres puts things into perspective and recalls that his attention is focused on Spain's opening match at the 2026 World Cup. The Barcelona striker, under contract until 2027, shone in 2025-26 with 21 goals in all competitions.
Ferran Torres assures not to be disturbed by the rumors sending him to Paris Saint-Germain. Interviewed by the Spanish selection before La Roja's first match at the 2026 World Cup, the Barcelona striker put media speculation aside to focus on the meeting against Cape Verde.
Under contract with the Catalan club until 2027, Torres is announced as a prospect for the European champions according to several media. A transfer to Paris could, again according to the press, allow him to reunite with Luis Enrique, who had already managed him in the selection.

Author of a very convincing 2025-26 season, Torres helped Barcelona retain their Spanish championship title. The player has scored 21 goals in all competitions – only Lamine Yamal (24) has done better – and has a conversion rate of 21.7%, behind Marc Bernal (33.3%) in this area. Often established in front of Robert Lewandowski – who left Camp Nou at the end of the season – Torres proved that he could carry the Barcelona attack. But when asked about the transfer rumours, his response was clear: "I don't know, and I don't care at the moment. [Spain's opening match against Cape Verde] is the important thing, to get the three points, to make a good start... [Where do I see myself?] Playing against Cape Verde [on Monday]."
Briefly mentioned on the sidelines of the World Cup, the hypothesis of a departure does not distract Torres from the immediate objective: to launch Spain well into the competition.
