Juventus offers 35 million euros for Svilar, Roma remains firm

Juventus have offered 35 million euros to sign Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar. The latter is considered essential by Gasperini, and the Roman club rejected this offer, demanding a minimum price of 60 million euros.
Three days before the June 30 deadline, Roma are looking to increase their revenues in order to respect the financial agreement reached with UEFA. At this stage, the only viable option to generate additional revenue is to make capital gains through player sales. Among them, Mile Svilar, the goalkeeper of 1999, the main asset of the team coached by Gian Piero Gasperini, seems unlikely to be put on the market.

However, an opportunity had recently emerged for Svilar to stay in Italy while leaving the capital. Juventus, looking for a goalkeeper, approached Roma to negotiate the transfer of the player. The Roman sports management, in particular Tony D'Amico, shares Gasperini's vision on the non-transferable nature of the player.
According to information from Repubblica, Juventus contacted the goalkeeper and proposed an offer of 35 million euros to secure his services. This proposal was purely and simply rejected by Roma, who do not even wish to start negotiations below an amount of 60 million euros. The Roman club therefore remains firm in the face of this interest, refusing to lower its demands for Svilar.
