Faced with difficulties in completing the Dibu Martínez file, Juventus approached AS Roma and Mile Svilar's entourage with an initial offer of €40 million. The Giallorossi want to keep their goalkeeper and would only enter into discussions based on a proposal of between €50 and €55 million.
Juventus has taken a first concrete step for Mile Svilar. According to Il Messaggero, the Bianconeri would have offered 40 million euros for the goalkeeper, an offer considered too low by AS Roma.
The Roman club, which does not wish to let go of its holder for the moment, would ask between €50 and €55 million to consider a sale. An amount which does not seem to be within the reach of the people of Turin immediately.

According to information from Matteo Moretto relayed by the Italian press, Juventus has contacted both AS Roma and Svilar's entourage to find out the conditions of a possible transfer. Roma is keen to keep its goalkeeper, especially since, according to the same daily, Gasperini considers Svilar a key part of the team and would not want to part with him when the club returns to the Champions League.
Juventus' maneuver comes after the complications encountered in the Dibu Martínez case: the Turin club is looking for an alternative solution to the goalkeeper position and wants to evaluate the possibility of the departure of Svilar, a former Benfica player. The situation could change if an offer consistent with AS Roma's expectations came on the table.
