Koke extends adventure with Atlético Madrid

Koke, the most capped player in the history of Atlético Madrid, has just extended his contract for an additional season, until the summer of 2025. At 34, the Spanish midfielder will begin his 17th season with the Madrid club, of which he remains a pillar under the orders of Diego Simeone.
Atlético Madrid will be able to count on its leader and symbol for one more season. Koke, record holder for the number of matches played with the Colchoneros (740 appearances), has officially signed a new one-year extension, ensuring his presence in the squad until 2025.
Arriving in the professional group during the 2009-2010 season, Koke, now 34 years old, will begin his 17th season under the colors of his training club. A true driving force of an ultra-competitive collective since the Diego Simeone era, the Madrilenian has collected two Spanish championship titles and two Europa League crowns over the course of an exceptional career.

With 50 goals and 122 assists to his name, Koke is one of the most influential players in the history of the red and white club. Last season, he played 56 matches in all competitions, including 40 as a starter, accumulating five decisive contributions.
