Roma barricades itself for its executives: heading towards Greenwood and the extensions of Dybala and Celik

Roma did not respect the settlement agreement and faces a fine estimated at 10-12 million, but the club refused to sell its executives. Mile Svilar and Niccolò Pisilli remain, the attack must be strengthened (target: Mason Greenwood) and extensions – Dybala and Zeki Celik in the lead – are under study.
Roma decided to stand up. Despite the failure to reach the parameters of European financial fair play - which should result in a sanction estimated between 10 and 12 million - the giallorossa management, under the leadership of the Friedkins, preferred not to sell off its most precious elements.
The club resisted the offers received for several players: goalkeeper Mile Svilar will remain in Rome after opposition from the managers, while for young midfielder Niccolò Pisilli a proposal from FC Porto was rejected. The strategy is clear: take a financial penalty rather than strip the squad.

The immediate sporting objective remains to strengthen the team, and particularly the offensive sector. Mason Greenwood is still among Roma's priorities: according to our information, an offer should be presented in the coming hours to Olympique de Marseille, despite an attempt at interference from Fenerbahçe.
The transfer window is not limited to arrivals. Roma also wants to secure its core via contract extensions. Paulo Dybala and Zeki Celik are priority for quick renewals. For Lorenzo Pellegrini, the file should take more time, but management remains confident of a positive outcome.
As the season looms, Rome is therefore banking on sporting stability rather than structural sales, accepting short-term financial risk to preserve the team's competitiveness.
