The English club Liverpool is closely following the young FC Barcelona midfielder, Marc Bernal, who is struggling to establish himself under the orders of Hansi Flick. A possible transfer opportunity looms in the coming months if his playing time does not improve.
Why it matters
Marc Bernal's situation at FC Barcelona is crucial for Liverpool, who are looking to strengthen their midfield. The 19-year-old, despite his potential, is struggling to get game time under Hansi Flick, which could open the door to a move to a Premier League club. Liverpool, looking for promising talents, could see Bernal as an asset for the future.
Context
Marc Bernal, young FC Barcelona midfielder, is closely monitored by Liverpool due to his potential and the uncertain situation of his playing time. With technical qualities from the Barcelona training, he could fit into Liverpool's recruitment philosophy, which favors young talents capable of developing within the team.

This situation could interest Liverpool, given that the club is looking more to invest in players with high development potential rather than only recruiting experienced players. There does not appear to be any immediate pressure for a transfer to take place, with Bernal currently expected to assess his place at Barca at the end of the season. This offers the English club time to carefully monitor its development, as well as the intentions of FC Barcelona, before positioning itself.
On a technical level, Bernal is recognized for the qualities associated with Barcelona training, notably excellent control of the ball and an ability to evolve under pressure. For Liverpool, who have already seen Andoni Iraola progress in the team's defensive structure, such a talented and young midfielder corresponds to the philosophy adopted in terms of recruitment.

However, the club must also take into account its immediate needs, in particular by strengthening more specialized profiles in midfield defense. This is why interest in Lamine Camara from Monaco is also being closely monitored, as this player can provide crucial tactical balance.
Liverpool therefore remains cautious and favors a complete analysis of the months to come. If Barça is ready to release Bernal and if the latter chooses regularity in the game, an opportunity could present itself. For now, the English club are observing rather than rushing, assessing both the player's potential and the demands of their current squad.
Ultimately, Marc Bernal constitutes an attractive target for Liverpool, but the club must reconcile development projects and immediate needs. The next summer transfer window will be decisive in whether or not this possible transfer materializes.
The rest
As the season continues, Marc Bernal is expected to evaluate his position at FC Barcelona at the end of the campaign. This gives Liverpool time to observe his development and the Catalan club's intentions. If Bernal's situation does not improve, concrete interest from Liverpool could materialize in the coming months.
