According to the newspaper SPORT, FC Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal wishes to continue his career at the Catalan club despite the expressed interest of several English teams, notably Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. The Spanish daily reports that the player has made it known that he considers Barça “at home” and that he prefers to stay for the moment.

These revelations come as Premier League clubs are increasing the number of avenues towards offensive and creative profiles from Spanish training centers. Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are regularly mentioned in the market to strengthen their midfield lines, but, if we are to believe SPORT, Bernal does not intend to be seduced easily and would favor continuity at Barcelona.

The context of the current transfer window, marked by intense competition between major European clubs to attract young talent, explains why Bernal's name is circulating across the Channel. In Barcelona, the sporting strategy often involves keeping your gems when the player feels integrated into the project and the locker room. According to the same report, it is precisely this feeling of belonging that would push Bernal to stay.

No official information has been released by FC Barcelona or the English clubs mentioned regarding a concrete offer. SPORT is the source of the information relayed here; the club and the interested parties did not communicate a formal statement at the time of publication of these elements.

On a sporting level, the duration and nature of Bernal's commitment to Barcelona - contract, playing time or role in the rotation - are not detailed in the SPORT paper. Likewise, the possible amount of a transfer or an offer is not publicly mentioned in this report.

The fact remains that the echo of these rumors underlines the persistent attractiveness of the Catalan midfielder's profile for English clubs, and reminds us that the transfer window can evolve quickly if a concrete proposal arrives. For the moment, according to SPORT, Marc Bernal has opted for stability and wishes to continue his development at FC Barcelona.
