Mercato Inter: Zazzaroni discusses interest in Nico Paz and summer goals

Inter Milan plans to make at least four recruitments during the summer transfer window, with Palestra as a priority target. However, the Nerazzurra management must manage a constrained budget of 50 million euros dedicated to purchases excluding transfers, which makes it necessary to sell certain players to complete the transfer window.
Inter Milan is continuing its efforts to secure the arrival of Palestra this summer, while considering three other reinforcements to prepare for the 2026/27 season. On his Instagram account, Ivan Zazzaroni, director of Corriere dello Sport, lifted the veil on the Lombard club's strategy and its financial constraints. For the next campaign, the Oaktree fund has allocated an additional budget of 50 million euros for non-sales recruitment. The dual sporting management Marotta-Ausilio wishes to provide coach Chivu with two central defenders, including a right-hander, a full-back (Palestra) and a midfielder. However, the acquisition of Palestra would consume all of these 50 million, forcing the club to rely on sales to finance other sought-after players.
Inter has already received several proposals for certain elements of its squad, notably Diouf, Stankovic, Frattesi, Bonny, and possibly Calhanoglu (interested by Galatasaray). Unless an extension of the budget is granted by Oaktree, completing an ambitious transfer window promises to be complicated. Zazzaroni ends by recalling the excellent relationship that Marotta maintains with Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, suggesting that negotiations for Nico Paz could accelerate.
