Motherwell close to appointing new manager after Jens Berthel Askou's departure

After the departure of Jens Berthel Askou to Toulouse, Motherwell is moving forward in its search for a new coach. The Scottish club will travel to Denmark for a training camp and a friendly match against Danish champions AGF Aarhus at the beginning of July.
Motherwell are close to finalizing the appointment of a new manager to succeed Jens Berthel Askou, who left the club three weeks ago to join Toulouse in Ligue 1. The Scottish club have said their search is now at an "advanced stage". Under the leadership of the Danish coach, Motherwell achieved a good fourth place in the league last season.

Preparing for next season also involves a seven-day training course in Denmark, scheduled for the end of June. Motherwell will play a friendly match on July 5 against the reigning Danish champions, AGF Aarhus, in order to fine-tune the settings before the start of the official competitions.
