• Napoli, false partenza. Per Trevisani remained da scudetto: “Non ha perso giocatori”.

The start of the Naples season has caused a lot of talk in Italy. After the draw against Fiorentina, many observers are pointing to a lackluster start to the championship for the 2023 champions. Riccardo Trevisani, journalist and consultant for the Pressing show, however takes the opposite view of these criticisms and provides his enlightened view on the Neapolitan situation.

According to Trevisani, the performance of the men now led by Massimiliano Allegri against Fiorentina cannot be classified among the bad matches: “The match against Fiorentina was not as negative as some claim, especially in terms of the content offered,” he explained during his televised intervention.

One of the strong points highlighted by the journalist is the stability of the Neapolitan squad. Naples did not experience an exodus of its executives during the last summer transfer window, unlike certain direct rivals. According to him, this continuity in the group allows the team to keep all its ambitions intact for the Serie A title race.
