Roma: Still interested in Jayden Oosterwolde despite English competition

Roma continue to be interested in Jayden Oosterwolde, defender of Fenerbahçe, but they must deal with competition from Premier League clubs and an upward evaluation of the player by the Turkish club.

Roma keeps Jayden Oosterwolde in its list of priorities to strengthen its defensive sector. According to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, the Fenerbahçe central defender is not ready to leave easily, with the Turkish club having set a high price for his transfer. This high valuation is explained in particular by Fenerbahçe's intention to maximize the sale of the former Twente and PEC Zwolle player. In addition, part of the income from a possible transfer must be returned to these two Dutch clubs under a clause relating to resale. In addition to Roma, several Premier League teams have expressed interest in recent weeks, but no official offer has yet been made to Fenerbahçe. The situation therefore remains frozen for the moment, while Roma carefully monitors developments in the hope of seeing a window open to initiate concrete negotiations.
