Wayne Rooney admits to having a fondness for Scotland, but not for Wales!

Wayne Rooney has revealed that he has developed some sympathy for Scotland, who he supports during the World Cup, but he still cannot digest the Welsh celebration when England were eliminated from Euro 2016.
During an intervention on the occasion of the World Cup, Wayne Rooney, legend of English football, admitted to having a “soft spot” for the Scottish selection. The former Manchester United striker clarified that he had developed a particular affection for the Scottish team during the World Cup, not hesitating to wish them success during the competition.
On the other hand, Rooney returned to Euro 2016 and admitted that he still harbors a certain resentment towards Wales. He has in fact not forgotten the reaction of the Welsh selection, which had strongly celebrated the elimination of England during this European tournament. This gesture has still not passed for the ex-England international, who admits that he cannot support the Welsh in the same way.

“I've always had a soft spot for Scotland, but I still can't forgive Wales for celebrating our elimination from Euro 2016,” he said.
