Casemiro talks about his development at Manchester United: “I grew as a player and as a man”

Casemiro, former Manchester United midfielder, spoke in an interview with Sky Sports about his experience in the English club and his development both on a sporting and personal level. “Many opportunities opened up to me. I was able to discover a new championship by playing matches for one of the biggest clubs in England. I think showing my qualities in the Premier League has always been a dream of mine,” said the Brazilian.

During his four years with Manchester United, the player won two major titles, played in a Europa League final as well as two other finals. “We leave a legacy where people miss us. They have an impact not only on you, but also on your family. When you walk down the street, fans come to thank you. The club leaves a very special mark,” explained Casemiro.

The defensive midfielder also expressed his desire to win the Premier League and the Champions League, two titles he has not yet won with the Red Devils. “Of course you always want to win the Premier League, the Champions League, but I would say that playing for Manchester United is a really special experience that I took full advantage of. I grew as a player and as a man. I have also matured on the family level. The influence that this club, this city and these supporters have had on me is beyond anything I could have dreamed of,” he concluded.
