Donyell Malen confirms his commitment to Roma and encourages the arrival of Julian Brandt

Dutch striker Donyell Malen has confirmed his decision to stay at Roma through a video shared on the Roman club's social networks. Having recently arrived in Serie A, the former Borussia Dortmund player quickly found his feet and established himself as a key element of the team led by Gian Piero Gasperini, actively participating in qualification for the next Champions League.

Author of decisive goals, Malen now aims to reach a new milestone in his career in Rome. The number 14 could also contribute behind the scenes to the recruitment of Julian Brandt, a German attacking midfielder also under contract with Dortmund and who will leave the Ruhr club free of any commitment at the end of the season.

Forming a quality duo during their years in Germany, Malen and Brandt together combined for 73 goals and 62 assists in three and a half years, impressive statistics which correspond to a caliber worthy of the Champions League. While Roma are actively preparing for their transfer window, the Dutchman's influence could prove valuable in trying to convince Brandt to commit to zero euros with the Giallorossi.
